It is good till you have any issue.
Pros
The speed is fine. I was on world net before SlingShot. Since I switched to Slingshot the downloading speed got extremely improved. I would say 5 times faster. The plan I had with SlingShot was even slower speed one and it was a lot faster than world-net one. ...read more
Cons
Customer service ruined everything. Their reps had to go back to manager all the time. Which means I am waiting till they get the answer from someone. Also when I talk to manager they don't have answer and switch me to someone without any solution.

They also have connection issues time by time.

It has been great last 5 years with Spark. I would recommend to my friends.
Pros
Their Customer support has been the best ever! They gave me the answer right away all the time. Hassles free and connection is stable. The Speed is amazing and they even upgraded my plan from ADSL to VDSL without extra cost. Additional service are good too such as free Lightbox and discounted movies. ...read more

There were a particular month with a lot of connection issue. They did not explain what is really going on. i was happy with them the most of times except the month.

I had world net internet for a year or two and the speed was horrible.
Pros
Costomer service was fine.
Cons
The diwnloading speed is the worst ever. Unbelievable is low speed. As I switched to Slingshot, The download speed got 5 times faster. I don't know how. The plan I had with Worldnet should be 5 times faster than the lower speed plan on Slingshot, however it was completely opposite. At the end It means World net gave me only 1/25 of original download speed. It was years ago however the memory still gets me upset. By the way I am not even a fen of Slingshot even. Great service. Bend over backwards to help.
Pros
Can email or phone them. They get back to you really quickly. When our VDSL modem played up, they couriered a new model within days.
Billing simple and efficient.
Cons
None. I will upgrade to fibre with them.

Lost us as a customer because they would not answer phone & emails regarding upgrading to unlimited broadband at a competitive rate.
Appears they would rather give a discounted rate to new customers than retain existing customers (4 years).
Pros
Once connected very good reliability and speed.
Cons
Took a year to get Fibre broadband - no doubt Chorus was the problem.
Took 4 routers before we were able to get a working landline phone connection - poor problem assessment by Slingshot and lack of knowledge by Chorus.

We have Rural Broadband (4G). We were sold this as better than the VDSL (copper wire) we had in Jan 2016. Initial speed was 38.91 down and 11.37 up, which was very acceptable. However this did not last. Over the year it slowly deteriorated and on the 30th Jan this we hit rock bottom at 7 down and 1.4 up. Support to date to resolve has been disgusting. No communication the biggest issue. Have even raised a complaint via their Web site which promised a response in 24 hrs which has passed with no response. ...read more

Was great in the beginning. Signal strength excellent. Price reasonable.
Cons
Terrible speeds. Fluctuates something wicked. So bad at time that our accounting software (in the cloud) will time out.

Totally Awesome company.

Its not very often that I give such high praise but Netspeed deserve this completely.

Moved into a newbuild house 3 weeks ago in a rural area. Searched for various internet options without getting very far.

Wired fibre broadband was out of the question because it turns out we are not hardwired to the network.

Started looking at rural wireless BB instead.

No service with Uber or Spark. Did on online check of nearet cell tower - it was 2km away so should be ok.

Called vodafone - awful customer service. Agent sounded bored and I knew more about her service than she did.

Then I called Netspeed. That was 2 days ago.

Today we are connected to the world.

I held off writing this review until today because I'm a glass half full kinda guy and I was expecting things to go wrong - nothing is ever as good as it sounds at first, right?

Spoke to their Agent called Stan. He was so helpful and knowledgabe - didnt have to pump him for answers like vodafone. He was clear and simple with his information.

Signed up there and then. He emailed the invoice which I pad today. He posted the router - that just arrived by courier.

Plugged it in and got connected in 30 mins (thats the desktop pc, 2 laptops, a tablet and a smartphone.

Heres the thing - its contract free. No penalty for stopping contract.
Router was $300 but we get to keep it.
several options for data and phone which you can swap around whenever you like (and yes they will accept you going onto a cheaper tariff if youre not using all the data)
Current plan is 120GB per month @ $100 per month
We pay for VOIP phone at $15 extra

There is so much extra that comes with it -
free voicemail
free email to fax service
calls to many international destinations for 5c per min
free VOIP calls using my smartphone via the router (thats witchcraft right?)
Can even control the router using my smartphone.

Finally, I am NOT an employee or on commission! Just a very satisfied customer.
